Rosa Reading Festival – Literature and Migration

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting literature that engages with human and social issues—and following the establishment of the Rosa Reading Club three years ago, which aims to promote reading and cultural discussion—the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation – North Africa Office – announces the launch of an annual Reading Festival. This festival opens a new space for reflecting on literature and its intersections with social and political realities.

The first edition revolves around the theme “Literature and Migration”, featuring a group of distinguished guests whose creative work deeply engages with this topic.

The festival also seeks to highlight the experience of reading itself and emphasize its role in developing both individual and collective awareness. Reading clubs and readers will actively contribute to shaping the program through meetings, discussions, and various activities that place reading—alongside writing—at the heart of the event.

Dates: 5, 6, and 7 December, at Hotel El Mechtel (Tunis)

The event is open to everyone.
