Akram Kharief

is the Director of Peace and Security Projects at the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. He previously worked as an independent journalist specializing in defense and security. For more than fifteen years, he has covered military affairs across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Geopolitics of the North African Armed Forces is his first book on regional geopolitics.
